I don't know about you but I am sick of the rain. Someone said it's better than the ice and that's true but I am fed up of arriving everywhere looking like a drowned rat. Yes, that's a very British thing to do, complaining about the weather but it's getting a little tedious now!
Today I had a meeting at Pure on Raw in Sheffield which is a new raw food cafe that's opened. honestly did wonder what raw food would be like but it is amazing! The flavours and textures are fantastic and some of the dishes are so creative. Plus, they do the most amazing smoothies which are great for giving your immune system a boost.
So what have I eaten today?
Breakfast: Porridge with chopped banana
Snack: Mince pie
Lunch: Parsnip soup and white chocolate flapjack (from Tamper Coffee)
Smoothie from Pure on Raw
Dinner: Pork casserole with roasted butternut squash, carrots, parsnips and red and yellow peppers
Tomorrow I'm going to do a 30 minute workout with a friend which should be great. We'll see how unfit I really am! Although, I did almost powerwalk back from town today and it's all up hill from Shalesmoor to my house!

ReplyDeleteYes seaweed is a hugely nutritious food which we underestimate! I often add Seagreens to my cooking. Over in the UK we are still a little sceptical but I hope people are starting to be more aware. There is much more publicity around seaweed than there was which is a start :)
